Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Prophet app ("Prophet," "the app," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Prophet, and old enough to form a binding agreement.
3. The service
Prophet helps you identify graded trading cards (by cert number, QR/barcode, or photo), estimate grades from images, track the cards you own with the cost basis you enter, and set alerts. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
4. Not professional advice
Grade predictions, population data, values, and any estimates shown in the app are informational only. They are generated by automated models and third-party data and may be inaccurate. They are not grading, appraisal, financial, or investment advice, and Prophet is not affiliated with PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, or any grading company. Decisions you make based on the app are your own.
5. Your account
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information, and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time in Settings > Account > Delete account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the service; attempt to access data that isn't yours; scrape, bulk-export, or resell the app's data; reverse engineer the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law; or use Prophet for any unlawful purpose.
7. User content
You retain ownership of the collection data and images you submit. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service (for example, sending an image to a model to estimate a grade). You are responsible for the content you submit.
8. Third-party services + data
Prophet relies on third-party providers (for authentication, hosting, push notifications, card identification, and grade estimation). Their data and outputs are provided "as is," and we are not responsible for their accuracy or availability.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prophet and Prophet Insights will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
11. Termination
You may stop using Prophet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
